Rooted in Uganda.
Growing Together

At Table de Flora, the value of what we produce goes beyond the finished product. It also lies in the jobs we create, the farmers we work with and the skills we share.

Supporting local farmers and livelihoods

All our ingredients are purchased locally in Uganda. From milk to cocoa, vanilla, strawberries, mangoes and other fruits, our sourcing supports farmers, suppliers, transporters and the families whose livelihoods depend on their work.

Our impact extends beyond our own employees. Every purchase helps sustain a wider network of local businesses and creates demand for the ingredients they grow, supply and deliver.

Investing in our people

We take pride in paying salaries well above typical local industry levels, recognising the skills and dedication of the people behind our products.

As our business grows, we want our employees to grow with it, developing their abilities, taking on greater responsibility and building better livelihoods for themselves and their families.

Sharing knowledge with farmers

Our relationship with farmers goes beyond buying their produce. We provide practical training to dairy farmers in milk hygiene, quality and handling, supported by feedback that helps them improve their practices.

As our other product ranges expand, we aim to extend this support to fruit, cocoa and vanilla farmers, focusing on ingredient quality, post-harvest handling and reducing losses. We want to build lasting relationships that give growers both a reliable market and opportunities to develop their skills.

Building skills and opportunities

Food production creates opportunities to learn a trade and build a career. As we expand, we aim to offer more practical learning opportunities across dairy processing, baking, jam and chocolate making, food safety, packaging and quality control.

Our ambition is to help more people, particularly young people and women, gain the experience and confidence needed for lasting employment in Uganda’s food industry.

Producing in Uganda, for Uganda

Across our dairy, bakery, jam, chocolate and spice ranges, we turn ingredients purchased locally into finished products here in Uganda.

By processing, packaging and distributing locally, we keep more value within the country and support employment at every stage. We want to give customers more locally made choices while demonstrating the quality and variety that Ugandan food production can offer.

A business model built on local value

Table de Flora brings complementary food brands together under one company, connecting local sourcing with production and distribution.

Our model combines direct sales to households with supplying businesses such as hotels, restaurants and retailers. These different routes to market help us reach more customers and create broader opportunities for our suppliers.

As we grow, sharing production resources, delivery networks and quality standards across our brands can help us operate more efficiently. Our goal is a commercially sustainable business that supports continued investment in people, products and local production.

Raising standards across the industry

We aim to set a higher benchmark for Uganda’s dairy industry in product quality, food safety, transparency and the treatment of farmers and employees and carry that commitment across all our food ranges.

By consistently demonstrating what is possible, we want to raise customer expectations and encourage other producers to meet higher standards. Our ambition is to contribute to a stronger, more trusted local food industry whose progress benefits customers and workers alike.

Encouraging responsible practices

Our returnable glass packaging encourages customers to reuse bottles, while our electric boda helps reduce emissions from local deliveries.

As we grow, we aim to build on these steps through more efficient use of energy and water, improved cold storage and production planning that helps reduce food waste.

Opening doors to new markets

We produce in Uganda, for Uganda, with the ambition to introduce our products to export markets in the future.

Reaching new customers would create further opportunities for our employees, farmers and suppliers while showcasing food produced in Uganda.

As Table de Flora grows, we want the people and communities around us to grow with us.
